Below you'll find a feature editorial article about an outstanding Ready Air
product. While we do advertise in selected publications, participate in trade
shows, and maintain this website, we--like you--value unpaid, unsolicited
reviews of our equipment far more.
And What's New With You!
Send Us Your Real-Life Ready Air Applications Stories
Here at Ready Air, we build real air compressors for real world applications.
Our customers are tough on our equipment, and we love to see what they
put us through out in the field. So we're calling on all of you, from emergency
rescue teams to 4WD enthusiasts, to send in stories and photos (or send an
electronic file via email) of your Ready Air compressor at work, and a caption
explaining the circumstances.
In addition, send us information about your activities, clubs, scheduled event
--as much in advance as possible, of course, so we can get it posted on this
website for you--and reach other Ready Air customers and participants.
"Blowhard: Ready Air Has Another
Compressor Solution"
by David Freiburger
4-Wheel & Off-Road
November 1996
"Last month, we showed you how to convert an air-conditioning compressor
into a source of onboard compressed air. In the July '95 issue, you read
about Ready Air's engine-driven air pumps, and the August '95 "12-Volt
Plug-Ins" story had a bit on the Power-To-Go portable 12-volt compressor.
We've also heard that Sun Performance has a new portable model out.
So, yep, onboard air is a hot topic.
"Since you don't seem to be getting tired of different methods for squeezed
air aboard your 4x4s, this month we'll have a look at another option from
Ready Air, the 1/3hp electric single-stage model. We opted for the
permanent-installed version, but a portable version is also available. It
comes complete with 8-foot jumper cables and a 25-foot air hose, all
inside a 9-3/4 x 10-3/4 x 15-1/2-inch wooden box. And if you want to step
up even further, Ready Air offers a thumpin' 1/2hp, 175-psi, 12-volt,
two-stage unit. But we think the 1/3-horse unit shown here will more
than meet your gadget-loving needs.
"They say it'll be the last compressor you'll ever need."
